Transport, tempo and the session, along the top.

Escape button — the same as Esc: closes whatever is on top.
Tempo and position — BPM and bar | beat, with a sweep across it each bar.
- Tap to open tempo settings: a BPM stepper and the clock source (Internal, Ableton Link, MIDI clock).
Transport — Stop, Play, Record.
Session — the session's name; tap for the session menu (open, save, rename, new). Beside it, Settings.
MIDI panic — sends all-notes-off everywhere.
Unlock — while the Pro features are locked.
Device status — the audio interface in use, and whether it's connected.
Mode pill — while a mode is on, it takes the session buttons' place, named for the mode. Tap to leave.
